Covid19 was hard for everyone, being an essential service Your Local Property Managers didn’t get the chance to stop, with Shelley being a Civil Defence officer and helping out in the community, from food deliveries to ensuring social distance requirements were being adhered to at New World, her workload increased. When this was combined with a surge of landlords moving over to YLPM all at once, it made for a busy time.
We are now offering our services in Ohakune, Raetihi, Owhango, National Park and Raurimu. Shelley found she spends more time on the phone, attending Zoom meeting, signing at the actual property, signing digitally or seeing the landlord where it suits them, then she ever did at the office before and after COVID19. That’s the benefit of being local and not part of a franchise we are agile and can adapt to the situation to ensure we work in with your schedule which we hope is one of our stand out perks.
As a result of this change and to ensure a stream lined, efficient, and easy to monitor property management solution, we have moved to the console platform, that will enable tenants to log repairs and monitor status, look at their rent history or agreement online. It will allow Landlord to log in at any point and view rent arrears, repair history, payment history, latest inspections and everything relating to their property.
Over the transition you may get an email or two from console, but please ignore these, it is part of the data migration and 1 or 2 may slip through before the test team can jump onto them. We will send an email out to all landlords and tenants once we are live with your access details.
Console will enable the expansion or Your Local Property Managers into Ohakune, Raetihi and national park, Raurimu and Owhango by providing a mobile, virtual office with an ‘on the go platform.’
This will ensure we can continue to provide the best service to our landlords and tenants.
